After being in management of the family owned Compass group for over 30 years, Nikolaus Futter is a representative of the Old Economy. With his deep knowledge of traditional entrepreneurship, the passion for concepts of “disruptive competition” and the interest in new technologies, he is a popular contact and business angel for young entrepreneurs. 2020 he was awarded Business Angel of the year and since 2021 he is president of the board at the Austrian Angel Investors Association.

The mobility startup EDDI is the first Austrian Bicycle-as-a-Service-Provider. As an urban mobility solution EDDI offers an all-inclusive-bike-subscription. The flexible subscription includes a long-term rental of an Urban Bike as well as service, repair work and replacement in case of theft.
