As the next aaia member, we would like to introduce Thomas Frauscher, who is involved in the startup TechBuddy.

The Upper Austrian worked in management at IKEA for over 18 years. During the last years he worked on service innovation, startups and new trends and business models. It was precisely here that he first came into contact with TechBuddy, in which he later invested.

“The role as a business angel is much more than just being an investor: it’s about helping young, motivated teams make their ideas fly successfully.”

TechBuddy offers an online platform that connects certified technicians with customers to solve their technical problems, such as smartphone or laptop setup, conveniently and directly on-site. It is currently preparing to enter the Austrian market. We are excited.

Als nächstes aaia-Mitglied möchten wir Euch Thomas Frauscher vorstellen, der beim Startup TechBuddy beteiligt ist.

Der Oberösterreicher war über 18 Jahre lang bei IKEA im Management tätig. Die letzten Jahre beschäftigte er sich dort u.a. mit Service Innovation, Startups sowie neuen Trends und Geschäftsmodellen. Genau hier entstand der erste Kontakt mit TechBuddy, in das er später investierte.

TechBuddy bietet eine Online-Plattform, die zertifizierte Techniker mit Kunden verbindet, um deren technische Probleme wie z.B. die Einrichtung des Smartphones oder Laptops bequem und direkt vor Ort zu lösen. Gerade wird der Markteintritt nach Österreich vorbereitet. Wir sind gespannt.
