As the second aaia member we would like to introduce you to Thomas Kolbabek, who has been working as a Buissness Angel and Advisor since 2012 and has been involved in the Viennese start-up Printstones for two years.

Printstones develops robotic construction systems for the paving and concrete industry.

Complementing existing processes with automated just-in-time production allows for more design options (colors, size, shape), reduces the need for laborious manual work (stone cutting) and helps optimize labor times and logistics costs. With variable fill structures, Prinstones objects require less concrete, saving time, materials and cement-related CO2 emissions.

Who already knows the start-up?

Als zweites aaia-Mitglied möchten wir Euch Thomas Kolbabek vorstellen, der seit 2012 als Buissness Angel und Advisor tätig und seit zwei Jahren am Wiener Start-Up Printstones beteiligt ist.

Printstones entwickelt robotergestützte Bausysteme für die Pflaster- und Betonindustrie.

Die Ergänzung bestehender Prozesse durch automatisierte Just-In-Time-Produktion ermöglicht mehr Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten (Farben, Größe, Form), reduziert den Bedarf an aufwändiger Handarbeit (Steinschneiden) und hilft, Arbeitszeiten und Logistikkosten zu optimieren. Mit variablen Füllstrukturen benötigen Prinstones-Objekte weniger Beton, wodurch Zeit, Material und zementbedingte CO2-Emissionen eingespart werden.
